You might think that constantly being in and out of warm soapy water means nothing is cleaner than your child’s bath toys, but lurking inside a lot of yellow plastic ducks and toys is a layer of slimy, black gunge. That’s because the combination of warmth and moisture is the perfect breeding ground for mold, easily hidden in the nooks and crannies of these brightly coloured playthings. We’ve often heard that soaking these toys overnight in bleach will clean them completely, but as we all know the first place kids like to place their toys is….in their mouth! For this reason, among many others, we prefer to avoid any harsh chemicals. That’s where Concrobium Mold Control comes in. Here’s what you need to do:
-First, spray a thin, even layer of Concrobium Mold Control onto the toys and allow to dry completely. If the toy is hollow, remember to spray into the hole, or use an old eye-dropper or medicine-dropper to squeeze some of the product inside. The mold is eliminated as the formula dries.
